When Dole Packaged Foods came to us with the goal of generating follower growth for their Dole Sunshine Pinterest page, we knew an influencer-driven sweepstakes was the way to go.
We decided to create a holiday sweepstakes microsite (a simple “click to win” concept) that required Pinterest users to first follow Dole Sunshine and then pin their favorite of five holiday recipes. We selected five brilliant foodie influencer partners to produce quality and delicious holiday-recipe content featuring Dole Packaged Foods products. Through both organic and paid social media pushes on Facebook and Pinterest, the campaign drove traffic to the microsite/sweepstakes promotion while increasing the Pinterest following immensely.
